Accidental Kettle Korn

3 Tbs. oil
1/2 cup popping corn
1/8 -1/4 cup sugar -   add sugar to desired amount or substitute
Splenda, if using Splenda increase the oil by 1 Tbs.
salt

Place oil, corn and sugar in large dutch oven, (with lid), and stir
with a wooden spoon while on burner at medium, medium high heat.  Stir
until corn starts popping.  Put on lid and shake until corn starts to
decline in popping, careful not to burn it"  Pour into bowl and
sprinkle with salt.
